Major Room Progress

We're almost completely done with the nursery and with buying things....thanks to the help of amazing family who provided some manual labor for the project and to the generosity of those who have gifted us and our Little Lila!

Bigger Belly - 28 weeks

Here's a new, bigger, improved version of the baby belly for all to see! This was taken last week at 28 weeks. Now we have 11 more to go and there's no turning back. Lucas and I took a childbirth class which wasn't so much about birthing as it was taking care of the baby. We learned about bathing, breastfeeding, CPR, etc. Lucas thinks he's a pro at breastfeeding now...MEN! HA HA.

I'm starting to have a little trouble moving around since I'm getting so big. I don't go for long before getting worn out but overall I have minimal complaints. If only the nursery would put itself together!

I can't wait to meet Baby Lila!

Registries

For anyone who might want to know...we're registered at Target and at Babies 'R Us. It's under Lucas or Elizabeth Tesh.

Here's a pic of our bedding from Target along with the wall decoration we'll be putting up. Will upload pics once the nursery is actually decorated and pray that'll be before Miss Lila arrives :)

The Belly - 22 weeks

I've been concerned that I just look fat and not pregnant. I think this picture proves that I'm over that "hump." I have a certifiable baby belly now. WOW! Can you say Butterball! Hope this means our Little Lila is growing and healthy. She's supposed to be about 11 inches from head to toe and a pound now. This may be the last belly picture you get, so savor it!

Lucas felt the baby!

I've been trying to help Lucas feel the baby move for a few weeks now but everytime she hasn't made big movements. He's thought he could feel "something" but didn't know if it was just me moving or breathing. Yesterday Lila was pretty quiet all day, a huge difference from the day before when she was doing summersaults in the morning. Then when I went to bed last night and laid down she started really moving. Lucas was in the office so I called him into the bedroom to try to feel. Luckily she stayed active and he felt her kick like 5 or 6 times!! I'm so glad I'm able to share that with him now because it's such an amazing thing. I can't wait til she's kicking me in the ribs!!!
