We're pregnant!

We found out May 4th that we're expecting a baby! After a little scare a few months before, this news was amazing and exciting for both Lucas and I. Lucas will tell you that I'm actually getting my wish of having a baby before I'm 30th...by just a few days most likely. I would say to Lucas....it's about time! :)

We had our first appointment Friday, May 8th and so far so good. The biggest surprise was our due date...CHRISTMAS DAY! We go this Friday to see the baby for the first time on a sonogram...our little peanut. The due date will probably change a bit at that point once they see how big or small the baby is.

Being 8 weeks along I've started feeling some nauseousness but haven't been sick sick yet...knock on wood. It's very uncomfortable though and I've found that eating constantly throughout the day is a big challenge...and eating healthy. I better get used to it.

Everyone already asks: "Do you want a boy or a girl?" We don't care AT ALL! We just want a healthy little perfect baby and hopefully that's what God will give us :)

This initial post is probably a little boring and most of you have already heard this news but I'll keep posting and putting up pictures and any other info that we find out along our journey!!
